Bus 200 Apunte GMC- GMs international management and cross-cultural competence

To succeed in the global market, General Motors finds that employees must come equipped with the talent, knowledge, and inclination to develop and maintain extensive cross-cultural contacts. A ruling proscribing the consideration of race and ethnicity in admissions decisions would dramatically reduce the diversity at our Nation's top institutions and thereby deprive the students who will become the corps of our Nation's business elite of the interracial and multicultural interactions in an academic setting that are so integral to their acquisition of cross-cultural skills.

This is a very important tactic that GM uses. Using the knowledge and talents of othre cultures and countries, and aplying it to thier own company.
